Atlas House (PVT) LTD is a private company incorporated with the registered company in Sri Lanka beginning from 5th may 2014, under the registration number PV71440 It has obtain the license No. 2903 to operate as a Foreign Employment agency by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment under and by virtue of Act no 21 of 1985 which operate under the minister and ministry of labour and Foreign Employment located at No 234, DenzIl Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Koswatta, Battharamulla, Sri Lanka. Atlas House (PVT) LTD was originally located at No.299, Galle road, Colombo 3, Sri Lanka and now shifted to a new location at No. 02, Praja road, Obahena road, Madiwela, Kotte, which is the official capital of Sri Lanka. The new office is located in close proximity to Parliament of Sri Lanka and easily accessible by road. The share holders of Atlas House (PVT) LTD are Chairman / Managing Director Mr.Upali Sarath Kongahage President Counsel and The Director Mrs.Srima Shanthinie Kongahage is a Seasoned Social Worker and also The President of one of the most importance women’s Organization, "Eksath Lak Vanitha" and former member of Central Provincial Parliament for 15 years

Qualifications
1. Being an academically bright student and versatile in various other curricular activities in college, succeeded to enter the University of Sri Lanka, Kelaniya campus and graduated in Mass media and mass communication with a bachelors degree of honours. Period of degree 1973-1976
2. Further perusing studies on law, entered the Sri Lanka Law college, and in 1981 received the oaths as an attorney at law.
3. In the beginning of carrier practice, served as a legal officer at the Bribery Commissioners Department, and thereafter succeeded as a criminal law practitioner at Hulftsdorp, in the High Court of Colombo.
4. Having a strong political practise and a background ever since a student, later entered to active national politics, and was a founding member of Sri Lanka Mahajana Party in 1984, which became a decisive political force during the period. And later became the leader of the party in 1994.
5. In 1988, contested for the Provincial Council elections from the central province Kandy district, and succeeded to stamp the map of national politics as the first leader of the opposition, at the central provincial council.
6. Contested for the second time at the provincial elections in 1993 and succeeded to become the Chairman of the Central Provincial council.
7. Continuing the carrier actively in politics, in the year 1995 succeeded to enter the parliament through the national list, and was the UNP organizer for Senkadagala electorate. Being a keen political activist ever since a student, served as a member of parliament for a term of five and half years from 1995-2000.
8. During the period of 2002-2004 served as the Chairman of the Ceynor Foundation Ltd. a semi government entity founded by the government of Norway.
9. During the period of 2004-2006, served as the Director Station at MTV & MBC Channel network (Sirasa Network), of Capital Maharaja Group.
10. Served as the Chief Executive Officer at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, and Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, the national broadcaster, in the year 2006.
11. Towards the latter part of 2006 , was appointed as the director editorial and served as the acting chairman of Lake House , the national press.
12. During the period of 2007-2010 , served as a consultant to the Ministry of Mass Media and Information.
13. Returning to active politics , and contested as an independent presidential candidate at the Presidential Elections held in 2010.
14. Subsequently , was appointed as the Chairman of the National Television, SriLanka Rupavahini Corporation.
15. In the Year 2011 , was appointed as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Germany and Switzerland. As the ambassador to both countries , did successfullyexecuted in promoting bilateral and multilateral relations of Sri Lanka.
16. Further during the period of diplomatic service , was appointed as the President of the Diplomatic council in Germany.
17. After the conclusion of the diplomatic service in Germany , was appointed as the High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa and served during the period of 2014-2015.
18. Appointed as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Foundation , and served during 2017-2019.
19. Served as an advisor to His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka , during the period of 2017-2019.
20. Obtained Silk as a Presidents Counsel in 2018.
21. While actively practising law as an attorney of the supreme court of Sri Lanka since 1981 , is a member of the Bar for 41 Years.
